Do the twist...Relieve backaches, headaches and stiffness

The effective way to relieve backaches, headaches, and stiffness in the neck and shoulders is doing the twist.

Seated Twist (Marichyasana 1) Marichi is the name of a Vedic sage, son of Brahma, the lord of creation.

As the trunk turns, the kidneys and abdominal organs are activated and exercised. Nourishes the discs with the spine in safe alignment.

Improves digestion and removes sluggishness. Purifies the entire digestive tract. The spine becomes flexible and the hips move more easily. Relaxes and focuses the mind, releasing mental tensions, and bringing us into the present moment.

Cautions: Do not do twists after recent operations, those with abdominal, stomach pain, suffering from a hernia. Modification and use of props for pregnant women.
